Our History
1945
Western Steel Products
Brothers Jim, Bill, Harold, LeRoy, and Don Williams begin Western Steel Products, building a steel business in West Texas after the war.
1956
Shamrock Steel Sales is born
The Williams brothers establish Shamrock Steel Sales as a spin-off of Western Steel Products — a steel service center supplying area businesses and Western Steel Products, later known as Western Tank Co.
1956 – today
Serving the Permian Basin
Shamrock grows alongside West Texas oil, construction, and agriculture — building a deep carbon steel inventory, in-house processing, and a delivery fleet that covers the region.

Part of the Triple-S Steel family
Shamrock Steel Sales operates as part of Triple-S Steel Holdings, combining the same local Odessa relationships with the inventory and resources of a much larger steel organization.

Today Shamrock Steel Sales is part of Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. — a family of steel companies that gives West Texas customers access to deeper inventory, heavy carbon steel and PVQ products, and additional processing resources, while keeping the Odessa counter, phones, and delivery trucks local. Shamrock remains the name, the team, and the relationship.
